Follow and friend your top 150 for great results.
Have you ever heard of the “Dunbar Number”? According to Wikipedia:
“Dunbar’s number is a theoretical cognitive limit to the number of people with whom one can maintain stable social relationships. These are relationships in which an individual knows who each person is, and how each person relates to every other person.”
According to Dunbar the limit is 150 people. (Researchers debate this, with the number ranging as high as 290). However, 150 is a pretty good place to start, especially if you have a large database of contacts.
Ask yourself: Who are the “top 150″ in your database you feel you should be building better relationships with? Are they prominent community members? (Great networker.) Do they work in HR for a large company? (Great for relocations). Do you anticipate changes in their families in the near future? (Retirements, births, weddings, kids off to college).
One great way to keep tabs and keep in touch with these contacts is to friend them on Facebook and add them to a group on your Facebook page. Groups provide you with powerful ways to target status updates, share certain posts with only select members, and keep in “peripheral awareness” with what’s going on in the lives of certain groups of people.
With these “top 150″ grouped, you’ll never have to worry about missing out on updates in their life, and you’ll have more opportunities to network with those contacts. Engage them with comments and share links and stories that will catch their eye.
When you’re ready to dive into groups, educate yourself first by watching this excellent, 5-part “Facebook Groups Tutorial” from Butterscotch.com. (Parts 1 & 5 are most applicable to working your top 150.)

Years ago I read Julia Camerons’ Book “The Artist’s Way” which inspired me to journal everyday. However, it has taken me years to finally establish a weekly artist date with myself as she recommends…I have spent most of my life being too busy being busy.
Finally in the fall of 2010 it came about. Now every Wednesday morning at 11:30 A.M. I trek in my car to the north end of the city. I join a class of people…. most of whom are very pleasant seniors… the only ones not either working or in school at this time of day.
The occasional week I miss this date and I can really feel the difference in my psyche that week and in the level of my joy in life.
Every week a new artist comes in and does a demo. Then we attempt to paint something around the style of what he has demonstrated. At least that is the idea. It is a wonderful experience as weekly you get to try out new things and decide on what suits you and what doesn’t.
You also can get a feel for someone’s style and what it would be like to work with them. If it feels good you can check when they may have a class available.
Today’s class was with a man who did very loose fairly abstract work. I didn’t like his subject or end result, but I thoroughly appreciated how the result came about. In other words his style and technique. I would love to work with him. His style is very opposite to mine and it would bring about some well needed shifts in my methodology.
I haven’t painted any picasso’s yet or even produced much work as a result of this effort… just many experiments. But I am definitely learning a great deal about what I like and what I don’t.

I am always searching for ways to improve myself or my business.
There are lots of gurus out there selling big expensive packages. However, there are some really great inexpensive finds as well.
I had been struggling a bit with all the social media stuff that is going on.
I mean social media is where it’s at and how a tremendous amount of business worth billions of dollars will be generated on the internet in the coming years.
I found this little package LetsGetSocial which teaches you how to run a Social Media business. The great thing about that is you don’t have to want to run a social media business, but to do it you would have to become an expert on social media.
That’s exactly what this great little video course with supporting material teaches you to do.
I bought it for a family member and then decided to go through it for myself.
It cleared up tons of issues. Set me up with systems that I could run my social media for my business in minutes a day.
Frankly if I did want to run a social media business I now could.
Check it out, it could save you some time and effort as well. LetsGetSocial

If you are finding yourself extremely low energy and perhaps having physical pain or joint achiness don’t assume that you have arthritis, chronic fatigue, are just getting old, or some other malady that your doctor may be quick to label and give you a pill for.
You may have severe food allergies.
There are 7 main substances that people are finding themselves severely allergic to.
The are as follows.
Reactions to these can be severe.
Nuts can cause immediate death.
Seafood can be similarily severe although not so quickly.
Most people with seafood allergy just get sick.
The other 5 can cause varying degrees of reaction.
Some of which are,
extreme bloating & distension
severe gas
fiery and explosive bowel movements or diaheara
muscle aches and crampiness
pain in the abdomen
mentally fuzziness and fogginess
Living like you have a bag over your head.
If you eat any of the above which we all do, start a food diary and discover what you are eating and drinking daily. Take a look at what is in these items. Try eliminating one at a time for 2-3 weeks and see what happens. You may find some improvement but not enough. This could mean you are allergic to more than one. I personally can’t eat 4 of the items on the above list. It can be a big challenge at first to eliminate for instance wheat and dairy from your diet as they are everyhwere in our society. However, if you get your life back, are in control and feeling great it will be worth the effort.
